Physics
Academic background
and coursework.
B.S. Physics with a minor in Mathematics at Stetson University, expected December 2027. This page collects the academic side of the same interest that the automotive work comes from.

Interests
Where my attention goes
Academic interests, not professional specializations. I am an undergraduate; these are the directions I am reading and working toward.
- Theoretical physics
- Where the open questions are, and where an answer changes what the rest of the field assumes.
- Particle physics
- The behaviour of matter at the scale where the rules are least intuitive.
- Quantum physics
- The part of the subject that most resists being reasoned about mechanically.
- Mathematical modeling
- Describing a system well enough that the description predicts something.
- Experimental physics
- Measurement, instrumentation, and what a result is actually worth.
- Computational analysis
- Using code to get from raw measurement to an explanation.
Tools
Scientific software
- Python
- Coursework and early log-analysis work
- Mathematica
- Symbolic work and modelling
- LabVIEW
- Instrumentation and data acquisition
- KaleidaGraph, Excel
- Scientific graphing and analysis
In progress
Not written yet.
These sections exist because the work is genuinely underway rather than finished. I would rather show the structure than fill it with something I have not done.
- Lab workWrite-ups from experimental coursework
- SimulationsNumerical models and the code behind them
- NotebooksWorking analysis, including the parts that did not resolve
- ResearchUndergraduate research once I am in a group
